working...

I've always had the attitude of working hard to finish tasks and to satisfy customers. Treating the company i'm working for as mine and help in generating income especially revenues for the company. I have worked for more than 2 years now and all of the companies i have worked with are all outsourcing companies. I can say, outsourcing is really a great trend.

Most of my friends are developers and programmers. Why not use our skills and earn our own income than work for others. We have our skills and talents that we can use and be able to work and provide solutions to other companies too. It will be good if all these realizations would come into place and be able to put into actions. Time.. all we need is time... and we will see in time...

touched by an angel

i woke up late earlier today. It was already 3pm when i went out of my room. My sisters were still eating so i joined them and ate a few spoons of rice and a ripe yellow mango and then watch tv. After a few hours, my elder sis left, so does my younger sis - not knowing where they are all going. I went back to my room and opened my laptop. I remember my cousin wants me to install ms office software on her computer in mandaue, so i prepared my flash drive and saved the files i needed.

It was already early in the evening when i arrived in Mandaue. My parents are staying there, so when i arrived, i went directly to their room. I saw my father cleaning up buloy(aged 2 or 3 yr old cousin) who was naked since he just finished dinner and got so messy that he need to change clothes. My father gave me buloy's shirt and pants telling me to wear it on buloy. I told buloy that if he can wear it by himself, i'll buy him and ice cream. Hearing the word ice cream he started to wear the shirt by himself. It took him so long to figure out how to wear it that my mother wanted to help him since he look so puzzled on how to do such thing. Yeah, yeah, i myself wanted to help him too, but as a challenge, i wanted him to really just do it on his own that i stopped my mother everytime he goes near him. hahaha after some tries of getting to wear his shirt on, he finally made it. Then come to his pants --- which my father commented that he would never to do on his own. So i challenged buloy again, that he must wear it by himself so as i can buy him an ice cream. He was able to wear his pants right away which made us all laugh when he suddenly get up and said "ice cream, na palit nata" (ice cream, com'on lets buy) while wearing his slippers. So, the two of us went out and head to the store which was a couple of blocks away from our place. While walking, i asked him to hold my hand until she let go of me saying "daku naku, ayaw lang kupot"(i'm grown up, don't hold me), which really made me laugh and stopped, telling him that if he is not going to hold my hand, he won't get his ice cream. So we went on walking and he held my hand.

While still we were walking, i asked him where his mom is... he answered me back in an innocent voice "naa si mama sa ospital" (my mom is in the hospital). I questioned him back why his mom is in the hospital and answered "naa man siya sakit" (she has some sickness). Then i questioned him again where his dad was and he answered "naa sa ospital" (in the hospital). I also asked him why his dad is in the hospital and he said "bantayan man niya si mama"(taking care of mama).

I really felt so touched while i was asking him those questions. It's like i was talking to a grown up man knowing his so young. It's been days or i think weeks that his mom was admitted to the hospital because of some problems which i think is serious. He and his brother george(3 or 4 yrs old) has been sleeping with my mom and dad for a couple of days now. They have no idea what really is happening and how their mom is doing.

We continued walking and bought two pints of chocolate icecream and walk back. My dad and buloy are best buds. My father always says that buloy is really witty. Stubborn most of the time. He gets my father, mother and even me shout at the top of our lungs but still manage to make us smile and laugh.

I dropped by my other cousin's house whom i need to install a software on their pc. There house was closed. So i just went home. My dad and buloy accompanied me to get a ride back home.

to buy or not to buy!?

that is that question! I have been thinking and asking myself whether to buy or not to buy a mobile phone. I will be surrendering my mobile phone to my current employer since i will be leaving the company and transfer to another company by late next week. My old phone is not working already though i still have an extra mobile phone which though sometimes don't work well. hmmmm i've been thinking a lot about it. And now, i am almost deciding to subscribe to a plan and have 1 of the NSeries phone from Nokia. The N82 model in particular. I have been searching online on different phones and so far, i have liked the N82 model. It's interesting to have such model especially that i have found this blog online which is called The N82 Blog. It talks a lot about the phone and how to get the most out of it. Whew, but until now i am still unsure since the mobile model is quite expensive. ummmm so, i will wait and see if i could really buy one over the weekend or early next week, before i can surrender my phone or just stay with my very old phone. hayyyyy what do you think!?

resigning from MK...

i have submitted my resignation earlier today to our HR Manager. She was shocked but of course can't do anything but to accept my resignation.

Well, i have proven my work with MK and it's time for me to move on with another company and face another challenge. Effective March 8, 2008, I'll be starting with the company in IT Park. Can't wait till that day will come.

I dropped by earlier in IT park to sign the contract. Their HR handed me lots of documents to sign and handed me the requirements which i need to comply.

The work will be working during the office time in the US but since I am a night creature, it's not a big problem with me. Just like now, it's almost half past 4AM. I am a bit tired though since i have been awake since early morning yesterday.

Anyways, i'll drop by again here tomorrow and update this blog! ciao! :)

it's been a while that i haven't posted this blog. I am still working with MK Andersen Outsourcing Inc as of today, 20th of February 2008. I will be submitting my resignation tomorrow and transfer to another company in IT Park by next month. I am not sure how the people from MK would react if they will know i will be leaving the company soon. For sure i will miss them all.
